Morley’s Final Catalogue: Common in woods everywhere, Monks-park Wood; not infrequent at light in Ipswich and Monks Soham. Bentley Woods, Blythburgh Wood, Hopton and Gorleston (D).

Recent Status: Recorded across Suffolk.

Life Style: A single brooded species flying from May to July and coming to light. The larvae feed from leaves rolled into a tube on a wide variety of deciduous trees and shrubs. They pupate in the larval habitation.

Identification: A instantly recognised species with no similar British species.

Recorded in 33 (57%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1975.
Last Recorded in 2023.
